Roll on Jersey Royal season: influencers champion simply seasonal cooking

This season, Jersey Royals has brought its ‘simply seasonal’ message to life through a dynamic influencer campaign, showcasing the versatility, flavour and provenance of the island’s most iconic crop.

Partnering with seven carefully curated food influencers, chosen for their distinctive culinary styles and strong storytelling, the campaign has reached a combined audience of over 2.27 million, connecting with a broad, engaged community of food lovers across the UK.

Influencers have shared original, recipe-led content that demonstrates the versatility of Jersey Royals in everyday cooking. From plant-based dishes and comfort food favourites, to modern British plates and globally inspired flavours, each recipe highlights a fresh take on seasonal cooking.

Plant-based creator @tarasvegantreats showcased a vibrant, globally inspired approach to the campaign with roasted sticky cumin Jersey Royal skewers, served with butterbean houmous and chimichurri oil – highlighting bold spices and fresh, herb-led flavours.

Meanwhile, @finntonry demonstrated a classic, chef-led approach with a French-inspired Pomme Forestière, combining Jersey Royals with wild mushrooms, shallots, garlic and herbs, cooked in butter to create a rich, seasonal dish rooted in European cooking traditions.

Adding an indulgent, comfort-led angle, @sebscrispyclub brought texture and flavour to the forefront with smashed Jersey Royals topped with jammy boiled eggs, pickled red onions, fresh herbs and hot smoked salmon – a recipe designed to celebrate both texture and flavour!
